பேரவை - தன்னார்வலர்களின் முதல் கூட்டத்தின் விவரங்கள்.

விழா நடைபெறும் கனெக்டிகட் மாநிலத்திருந்தும், பக்கத்து மாநிலங்களிலிருந்தும் ஆவலுடன் வந்திருந்த தன்னார்வலர்களை வரவேற்று முனைவர். பழனி சுந்தரம் அவர்கள் கூட்டத்தை துவக்கி வைத்தார். அவர் பேசியதிலிருந்து சில துளிகள்:

--> விழாவிற்காக முன்கூட்டியே காசோலை கொடுத்தவர்களும் http://www.fetna.org/ தளத்தில் போய் தங்களை பதிவு செய்து கொள்ளவேண்டியது அவசியமாகும். காசோலை கொடுத்துவிட்டு, இணையத்தில் பதிவு செய்யாமல் இருந்தவர்களுக்கு - சென்ற ஆண்டு சில பிரச்சினைகள் ஏற்பட்டன என்றும் விளக்கினார்.

--> திரு.அப்துல் கலாம் அவர்கள் வருகையை இன்னும் உறுதி செய்ய முடியவில்லை என்றும், தொடர்ச்சியாக முயற்சி செய்து கொண்டிருப்பதாக தெரிவித்தார்.

--> திரைப்பட கலைஞர்களில் விக்ரம் மற்றும் ஹாரிஸ் ஜெயராஜ் இருவருடைய வருகையும் உறுதி செய்யப்பட்டு விட்டது என்றும் பார்த்திபன், வடிவேலு, பாரதிராஜா ஆகியவர்களைப் பற்றி இன்னும் முடிவாகவில்லை என்று கூறினார்.

பிறகு பேசியவர், பேரவை விழாவில் ஒரு பகுதியாகிய 'மருத்துவக் கல்வி தொடர் பயிற்சி' நிகழ்ச்சியின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் முனைவர் சந்திரா குப்தா அவர்கள்.

--> ஏற்கனவே 2006ம் ஆண்டு விழாவில் இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி நடத்திய முனைவர் குப்தா தற்போதைய விழாவிற்கு 90% வேலைகள் முடிவடைந்து விட்டதாக தெரிவித்தார்.

--> இதில் பங்குபெற்று சிறப்பிக்க இருக்கும் முனைவர்கள் - முனைவர் ராம் மோகன், முனைவர் இந்திரன் கிருஷ்னன், முனைவர் விஸ்வனாதன் சொக்கவேலு, முனைவர் செஷாங்க் ப்ரசாத், முனைவர் நிரஞ்சன் சங்கரநாராயணன் மற்றும் முனைவர் ஊர்மிளா ஆவர்.

--> இவர்கள் பொதுவான மருத்துவத் தலைப்புகளில் பேசுவார்கள். இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி - விழாவின் இரண்டாவது நாள் அதாவது ஜுலை 4ம் தேதி காலை 7.30க்கு நடைபெறுவதாக அறிவித்தார்.

--> இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் பங்கேற்க ஒருவருக்கு கட்டணம் $125. வள்ளல் நன்கொடையாளர்களுக்கு ஒரு இலவச அனுமதிச்சீட்டும், பெருவள்ளல் நன்கொடையாளர்களுக்கு இரண்டு இலவச அனுமதிச்சீட்டும் வழங்கப்படும். (கட்டண விவரங்களுக்கு http://www.fetna.org/ தளத்தை பார்க்கவும்).

--> இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியின் கனெக்டிகர் மாநில ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் முனைவர் திருமதி ஊர்மிளா ஆவார்.

அன்பர் பிரபு பேசும்போது :

--> சிறு வயது குழந்தைகள் உள்ள தன்னார்வலர்கள் தடங்கலில்லாமல் நிகழ்ச்சியில் பங்கேற்கவும் / வேலை செய்யவும், குழந்தைகளை ஓரிடத்தில் வைத்து அவர்களை பார்த்துக் கொள்ள ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்படுமா என்று வேண்டுகோள் வைத்தார்.

--> இதைக் குறித்த பேச்சின் முடிவில் - விழா அரங்கின் அமைப்பைப் பார்த்து முடிவு செய்துகொள்ளலாம் என்று தீர்மானம் செய்யப்பட்டது.

--> குழந்தைகளை மகிழ்விக்க - மேஜிக் நிபுணர், தொலைக்காட்சி - ஆகிய ஏற்பாடுகளை செய்யலாம் என்று திருமதி.காஞ்சனா தெரிவித்தார்.

விழா மலர் குறித்து திரு.அருள் வீரப்பன் பேசினார்.

--> விழாவின் தலைப்பு இன்னும் ஓரிரு நாளில் அனைவருக்கும் தெரியப்படுத்தப்படும் என்றும், அந்த தலைப்பில் அனைவரிடமிருந்தும் கட்டுரை, கவிதைகளை வரவேற்பதாக அவர் அறிவித்தார்.

--> விழா மலரில் முழு பக்க விளம்பரத்திற்கான கட்டணம் $500 என்றும் வள்ளல், பெருவள்ளல்கள் தங்கள் குடும்ப புகைப்படத்தை அனுப்ப வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டுக் கொண்டார்.

கடைசியாக பேசிய முனைவர் பழனி சுந்தரம் அவர்கள் :

--> தமிழகத்திலிருந்து கலைஞர்களை அழைத்து வர உபயதாரர்கள் வரவேற்கப்படுகிறார்கள் என்று கூறினார்.

--> விழாவிற்காக தன்னார்வலர்கள் செய்யும் எந்த செலவும் முன்னனுமதி பெற்றே செய்யப்பட வேண்டும் என்றும் கூறினார்.

பிறகு அனைத்து தன்னார்வலர்களையும் அறிமுகப்படுத்திய அவர் - பல்வேறு குழுவின் செயல்பாடுகளையும், அந்தந்த குழுவில் உறுப்பினர்களின் பங்கையும், அவர்களுக்குள்ளாக கூட்டம் போட்டு பேச வேண்டியதன் அவசியத்தையும் முனைவர் உணர்த்தினார்.

அடுத்த கூட்டத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு குழுவினரும் தங்கள் செய்த வேலைகளைப் பற்றி தெரிவிக்க வேண்டுமென்று கூறி கூட்டத்தை முடித்து வைத்தார்.

Dr. Sundaram explained about online registration and asked everyone to register online even for those who already gave cheque. Also said they confirmed Actor Vikram and Music Director Harris Jeyaraj and they are processing the visa for them. Parthiban, Vadivel and Barathiraja are on hold. Asked the volunteers to suggest artist if they know them. Trying Abdul Kalam, still under processing. Asked suggestion about any heroine.


Dr. Chandra Gupta gave an introduction about CME. Said he has already conducted a CME on 2006 and said 90% of his work is done and he has lined up all the Doctors for the speech, all the Doctors are Tamil speaking and well trained. The name of the CME is “Maruthuve Kazhvi Thodar Pairchi”.


Charge would be 125$ for each person. One CME free for Kodai Vallals. Two CME tickets for Perunkodai Vallal. Every speaker will speak for 30 mins. Among them are Dr. RamMohan, Dr. Indran Krishnan, Dr. Vishvanathan Chokkavelu, Dr. Cheshank Prasath, Dr. Niranjan Sankaranarayanan, Dr. Urmila.


They will talk about common topics. CME will be conducted on the second day, July 4th Morning at 7.30 AM and they are expecting 150 people.


Dr. Sundaram explained about the program timings and schedule for 2 days.


Mr. Prabu asked if we can bring in child care to take care of kids, so that we can work/see programs without any disturbance. The discussion continued about having child care inside the palace theater premises. Mrs. Kanchana suggested having a clown/magician to entertain the kids.


Arul Veerappan explained about Malar. Asked everyone to contribute articles. Need to bring in adds and suggested to get the add pictures with good resolution. End date for getting adds will be May 31st. Need family photo of Valals, kodai valals and perunkodai valals. Full page add is 500$


Dr. Sundaram asked if anybody is interested in sponsoring any artist are welcome.


Dr. Sundaram said that there is a ground rule that any spending have to pre-approved by coordinator and coordinator will propose to the Fetna committee.


Dr. Sundaram introduced all the individual committee and members of each committee. Also explained the roles and responsibilities of each committee and asked each one them to get in touch with their team members, either in person or through phone conference to discuss further actions and Dr. Sundaram requested everyone to provide an update in the next volunteer meeting.
